ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Sujena.
I’m a yoga and Pilates instructor with a background in kinesiology and clinical rehab. I specialize in accessible, functional movement for real bodies—whether you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic tension, or just want to feel stronger and more connected in your body.
My approach blends science, soul, and breath—combining mobility, joint health, nervous system regulation, and sustainable strength.
I offer group classes, 1:1 sessions, and corporate workshops in Toronto and online.
My goal? Help you move through life with more freedom, ease and control, less pain, and a deeper sense of connection.

Compassionate + Playful | Functionally informed + traditionallly rooted | Not just movement. A whole-body, whole-self experience.
I blend movement science with intuitive practices that support strength, mobility, long-term resilience and your body’s natural intelligence.
My work is grounded in biomechanics, nervous system regulation, and sustainable, pain-free movement for quality living. I center accessibility, collaboration, and care in every class or session.
I don’t just cue movement, but build body literacy - educating you through the movement journey in a way that’s fun and digestible so that you leave with a deeper understanding of how your body works and how to support it in your daily life.
I guide with curiousity, humor, and a deep love for movement - meeting you exactly where you are with an approach that’s inclusive, adaptable and always evolving. -

Multi-modality informed my classes and sessions are where strength meets softness, helping you cultivate more freedom, ease and control in your body while also giving your nervous system the deep rest it deserves. Expect intelligent flows that are both playful and practical. A practice that is grounding yet dynamic, accessible and therapeutic yet spicy, with plenty of props, thoughtful progressions and a focus on moving and breathing smarter.

Tamil-born. Scarborough-raised.
My roots are Tamil, and I grew up in Scarborough—shaped by resilience, rhythm, and a deep respect for community.
These influences show up in my work: a blend of discipline and softness, structure and soul. I’ve learned to hold space for discomfort, joy, grief, and growth—on the mat and in life.
I believe movement is more than physical. It’s ancestral. It’s emotional. It’s a way to return to ourselves, especially when the world pulls us away.
I bring that energy into every space I teach in—grounded, compassionate, and unapologetically real.

Yoga and movement save my life—every single day.
They’ve helped me rebuild inner and outer strength—through pain, through trauma, through everything I thought would break me.
Breathwork is my anchor. Movement is my medicine.
This work is sacred to me because it keeps me alive, honest, and whole.Yoga and movement aren’t just things I teach. They’re how I survive. How I process. How I come home to myself—again and again.
I believe in…
Yoga for every - unique, individual - body.
Holding space to allow others to move from a place of reflection & acceptance
Focusing on how we feel (and as a result connect with) our body and breath.
Erasing hierarchy — deeper is not always equivalent to better.
